Wright Brothers Worldwide is a New York City general contracting and custom build company, founded in 2020 by Taylor Mapps and Taaj Sallid. We work across the full range — commercial build-outs for restaurants, bars, and retail, and residential projects from full apartment gut renovations to kitchens and bathrooms.
What sets us apart is our studio workshop in Brooklyn. When a project calls for something that can't be ordered from a catalog, we don't subcontract it out — we design and build it ourselves: custom banquettes, millwork, upholstery, and bespoke fixtures. That in-house capability means tighter control over craft, schedule, and the final result.
We work directly alongside architects, designers, and clients from lease signing through final inspection, and take on a deliberate number of projects so each one gets our full attention. Licensing and insurance details, along with residential and commercial references, are available on request.
